The Governor proclaims FHL Week in state of Indiana

“WHEREAS, Faith Hope and Love Week is a week-long period of raising awareness in addressing hunger beyond providing food…”

Beyond This Hunger is an event where community leaders, celebrities, business owners and the public embark on a journey of eating one meal per day during “Faith Hope and Love Week”, July 22-28. Each participant will embark on the 0-0-1 campaign. (0-breakfast, 0-lunch, but 1-supper).

In recognition of “Faith Hope and Love Week”, the Ambassadors will only eat one meal per day. We believe that engaging in this activity will help us and others shed some light on what it’s like to go hungry. The goal is to raise money for 100 impoverished Central Indiana families to participate in a 20-week program to learn how to get Beyond This Hunger and, to support the FHL operations.

If you’re not an Ambassador yet, it’s not too late to join us. If you wish to support us but are unable to be an Ambassador, there are 3 ways to get involved: Donate and/or Share this event via social media, email, or through your personal conversations and Pray for the Ambassadors that they would have the strength to eat 1 meal a day for 7 days.

As part of the program, we will boycott all snacks and 2 meals each day encouraging all of our friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. via email, text, and social media, to join the “Beyond This Hunger” program by pushing out hunger facts, sharing stories from the field, creating awareness of the need, etc. Starting today, you will also hear us on KLove and other media.

Please prayerfully consider supporting us in our quest to address hunger beyond a bag a food.

God bless,
Merlin
