Since 2005, Faith Hope and Love Community has been on a mission to end hunger, combat food insecurity, and harness the power of food to build healthier, more connected communities. We believe food is more than nourishment, it’s a doorway to hope, dignity, and transformational communities. Our aim is to train and mobilize local volunteers to serve our communities.
Sadly, food insecurity continues to affect millions. As of 2024, more than 47 million Americans, including 14 million children, do not have reliable access to enough nutritious food. In Indiana, over 1,033,000 Hoosiers face hunger, with 1 in 7 being a child. This silent crisis contributes to serious long-term health problems, mental distress, and the breakdown of family stability and community resilience.
