    Hi ministry teams!

I do think we have updated enough in equipping area for surveys salvation tools and the new binders. Be sure to ask your team leader for a copy so you can minister more effectively by giving new revelation to your recipients. This is also important due to those at Barnes and it being used as a training hands on ground. Its perfect for that! At work when we have a new position, a new procedure there is a check off done. Since new churches are coming to Barnes to have hands on training we must be sure we are in sync with what they are learning. Since we have had changes and some couldn't come to the March training what I will be glad to do and show you a new insight page that Bill had made to help you see more salvations from our experiences. I will try to find new recipients files and wait for you to finish a person then bring this person to you. I will start with those on my team then go to the Barnes teams if you will allow me to.

You can read this sheet here to add this to your files for best practices. Now again the most important thing is to spend time in God's presence! We can't keep doing things with greater practices and leave out the most important aspect of ministry. We need the power of God flowing from us. It's a delightful time to be born! Many salvations coming. The glory of God is pouring out! Thanks for reading this long post.

Here you go : Preparation beforehand for ministry:
Before we come we should be prayed up and ask the Father to fill us with His Holy Spirit. We should ask Him to:
    Lead us and guide us
Give us compassion and the words to say.
Leave our cares at the altar.
Be ready to minister to them through the leading of the Holy Spirit with a SMILE.

    Insights on the new survey:
Step 1: Most people will say yes. But if they do not, show them one of these three verses as led by the Spirit. You only have a short time to do this if needed [say 10 seconds or so].Then go to step 2.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

    Step 2: No comment.

Step 3: Most people [probably 80% or more] will answer that they are trying to be good. It appears that they believe God is good and that they are to be good to get to heaven. They seldom mention Jesus. They don’t necessarily believe that he is the Son of God or that he is sinless. They don’t know that Jesus is the way to salvation. For that reason we almost always end up on step 4. We do mention to them that God is pleased that they are trying to be good and that they should continue to try to be good, but that is not the way to salvation.

They may wrestle with answering that question, or telling you what to put in the “something else” blank. Don’t put words in their mouth. Don’t assume because they have gone to your church for 10 years that they are saved. Don’t assume that because you know them that they are saved. Don’t assume anything. Ask them additional but diplomatic and pointed questions until they give you an answer if they can’t seem to decide. Use questions such as “Why are you going to heaven?”, or “Can you explain that more clearly?” Answers such as “Because I believe in God”, “God saved me”, etc. are not correct, but write them in the blank if that is what they say. As it says in the prayer manual, if they say anything else than “Jesus is my Lord and Savior”, or something similar, then continue with the survey in step 4.

Step 4: It is important for them to understand that they are sinful and can’t get into heaven on their efforts. We are diplomatic and phrase it as less than perfect in the survey. If you need to, remind them that God’s glorious standard is perfection.

Step 5: Here we introduce Jesus coming and shedding His blood as a sacrifice for us. I added the clause “perfect sinless sacrifice” to state the truth and counter some false teaching that Jesus sinned just like us. If you need to, you may have to remind them that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

    1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Step 5 short prayer: Satan will sometimes talk a person out of saying the prayer of salvation. That is why I added the phrase “binding any hindrance” so that our prayer of authority counteracts Satan’s intentions. We can see this authority that we have in the following two verses.

Luk 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Step 6: Here we ask if they are willing to receive salvation or pray the prayer for re-dedication. If they say no, we need to remember that it sometimes takes the Holy Spirit a few seconds to break down any enemy resistance after any authority prayer in step 5.
So---complement him or her on something to take their mind off the question for a few seconds-- up to 30 seconds. Then say “Let’s get back to the survey” and ask them again.
If they still say no, then bless them, give them a copy of the survey and ask then to study the rest of the page when they get home for their own knowledge and send them to the station for the food.

Step 6 prayer if they say yes: It is a prayer for salvation and a statement on the foundation for true salvation. Within it we mention:
Jesus is the Son of God
He shed His sinless perfect blood on the cross for us
He was raised from the dead
He is in heaven at the right hand of the Father's
It is more than believing in Him. We have to receive Him as savior.

Ephesians 2:8 says we are saved by grace through faith. Grace is not effective unless our faith and trust is in the correct thing.
Grace is therefore only effective when we are trusting in the perfect sinless shed blood of Jesus for our salvation, and not anything we do.

Step 6 prayer second paragraph: no comments

Step 7: Let them know that they will stumble, but that God is there to help them get the victory.

Make sure they have a copy of the survey to take home with them to study and for reference plus they are to be encouraged to study it several times to reinforce what took place. You can also give them a copy of the “Salvation” handout or any other handout you are led to give them.

    1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
