It’s not about food, it’s about people! Going beyond providing food, FHL has trained and mobilized over 300 churches in Indiana since 2005 to engage in local missions. With a focus on redefining the food access landscape, FHL ensures pantry volunteers understand the deeper needs of people, enabling them to refer individuals to other community resources for long-term sustainability. A branch of FHL, serves as a link connecting charitable food sources, like food pantries, with individuals who are homebound and facing food insecurity. Through a partnership with a national organization, we facilitate the delivery of food to vulnerable populations such as the elderly, those with physical or mental disabilities, and single parents lacking personal transportation. As a forward-thinking organization, FHL has developed a unique food access management software called SALTview. The launch of the FHL Academy of Leadership and Transformation represents Faith Hope and Love Community’s expanded commitment to cultivating leaders for the next generation in an ever-evolving world. Dedicated to serving the growing Latino population. We aspire to be fully bilingual in all FHL operations, offering programs not only in Spanish but also incorporating Latin cultural approaches. The FHL University is designed to be both experiential and academic. The degreed programs go beyond the classroom, both physically and virtually, inviting students to engage, reflect, and apply what they learn in ways that shape character and purpose. Through this approach, FHL University has expanded its educational reach internationally, connecting with students in Akala, Kenya, and providing opportunities to develop the knowledge and leadership skills needed to navigate the world around them.
