Welcome to UJIMA’s new website. Ujima is a new partner for FHL Community. It comes alongside FHL’s missional food pantry training and wrap around services by providing meal and outreach programs for at risk inner city youth. UJIMA provides hot meals along with mentoring and tutoring support families in the Central Indiana area.
This donated box truck served the FHL Missional Food Pantry Network members faithfully in the past year. It now needs new engine. The new FHL Community Distribution Center. We are thankful to God and to University UMC – a new FHL missional food pantry partner starting early in 2019 – for allowing us to use their facility.

This past October 22 Table Talk featured guest speaker, Ann Hartman, the CEO of Connect 2 Help 211. There are many benefits to the community, agencies and ultimately to the neighborhoods if we work even closer together.
Help us in our continuous quest to alleviate hunger beyond a bag food through the Missional Food Pantry Network & Training and the Beyond This Hunger program. A number of neighborhoods are already experiencing the impact of our transformational effort in fighting hunger.
Beyond This Hunger – fundraiser dinner presented by FHL Communityon Friday, December 14th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at 1100 W. 42nd St. Indianapolis, 46208 in Krannert Hall at the Indiana Interchurch Center.
The theme of the evening is Beyond This Hunger. We will share how our missional approach to hunger is changing people’s lives beyond just giving away a bag of food. The missional food pantries are gateways to community transformation.
