FHL Ministry Team Update : Healings and Salvations

Great great day at the FHL Missional food pantry with several healings and more salvations! The seniors were given carnations for Valentine’s day. I am privileged to be able to do a time of encouragement before the pantry with them. Table Talks went awesome also.

Only through God’s grace that we’re are entrusted to be a part of His ministry. The multiplication of Missional Food Pantries continues #FHLIndy as we are preparing to hold conferences and train 2 churches next week 2-16 and on 3/2.

FHL Community: Founder’s Year 2018 Update

God is breaking new ground

In 2018, FHL trained and incubated 3 more Missional Food Pantries.

Through the 7 FHL Network of Missional Food Pantries:
• 257 SALVATIONS; 9 BAPTISMS
• approximately prayed for 5000+ people
• 1179+ unique families were served
• 14,400+ bags of groceries were given

In February and March, two churches will be trained to open a missional food pantry.

On behalf of FHL leaders, staff, advocates and volunteers, I thank God for your prayers, encouragement and contribution. The food insecure are being fed, more volunteers are being mobilized and more people are walking from food pantries beyond just bags of food. The measurement of our success is not in terms of how many people we served, although that’s important, but how many
lives were changed.

Once again, thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Sincerely,
Merlin Gonzales

Beyond This Hunger Begins New Assessment Program

Beyond this Hunger” program is an innovative outreach of FHL Community designed to assist our food insecure neighbors by providing practical tools for successful living.

The State of the Food report by the Food and Agriculture Dept of the United States had this to say about food insecurity:

“Solutions require increased partnerships, enhanced risk management capacities and multi-year, predictable large-scale funding of disaster risk reduction and management and climate change adaption policies, programmes and practices.” –FAO

This extensive report from Food and Agriculture Department of the United Nations shows the complexity in addressing hunger. FHL Community continues to address hunger beyond food such as the introduction of Beyond this Hunger program.

If you are currently using the services of food pantries, listen to KLOVE 101.9 Indianapolis, IN  to find out how you could qualify for limited Free Assessment and Program to assist you beyond a bag of food. Email us for more details at: info@fhlinternational.org
