FHL’s Modified Missional Food Pantry Response to COVID-19

Our theology must reflect our actions.

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. – Matthew 5:13-14 (NIV)

Last week Cross Church and University UMC  had a wonderful MFP and at least 2 people got saved and baptized. Yesterday, Indy Vineyard and Nueva Esperanza MFP  served a total of 100+ households and at least 6 salvations!

Tomorrow, Barnes UMC is planning to do their MFP on the parking lot (call them first before visiting due to the fluidity of the pandemic).

The hungry are being fed and the Gospel is advancing!

FHL is now working on remote communications, meetings, pieces of training and possibly the monthly Table Talk at least in April.

We need your financial help more than ever to cope with the effects of COVID-19 and in the innovation of new modes of doing ministry, both in the front lines, training and administratively.

Please consider giving sacrificially by mailing your check to 1100 W. 42nd St. Ste. #365, Indianapolis, IN 46208 or donating online
